Our Story

Less selling. More solving.

The traditional manufacturers’ rep model is built around the sale: drop off a catalog, quote a price, move on. Tony Pruszenski spent 30+ years on the other side of that transaction — as a Journeyman Tool & Die Maker, then in engineering and purchasing management at major OEMs — and knew how little that model actually helped.

So in 2016 he founded TAP Industrial Sales around the opposite premise: less focus on making a sale, more focus on problem solving and technical support. The team he built brings backgrounds in purchasing, engineering, and quality methodologies — over 50 years of combined experience in industrial components — serving OEMs, manufacturers, and distributors across North America.

Our slogan, “Designed to Solve the Problem, Engineered to Last.”, works two ways. The products we represent are designed to solve real application problems and engineered to outlast them. And the agency itself was designed the same way — built around your problem, engineered for a long relationship.

Our Values

Hired for integrity, kept for results

Every person on this team was brought on for character first. These are the standards we hold ourselves to on every order.

Honesty

If a product isn’t right for your application, we say so — even when it costs us the order.

Integrity

We hire for it first. Skills can be taught; character is a prerequisite.

Customer First

Our job isn’t done at the PO. It’s done when the part performs in your machine, on your schedule.

Craftsmanship

Founded by a Journeyman Tool & Die Maker — we respect the people who build things, because we’ve been them.

Milestones

A decade of solving problems

  4. 2021

Laura Pruszenski joins to run operations and logistics, closing the loop from order entry through customs to delivery.

  5. Today

Seven product categories, coverage across North America, and 50+ years of combined experience in industrial components.
